The Black and Decker ASL188K Hammer Drill with Autoselect technology, has the power to drill into masonry, wood, metal and all screwdriving tasks. Choose the application you want to perform from the clutch collar and the drill automatically selects the appropriate gear and torque setting to complete the task.
It has two gears for high and low speed drilling and screwdriving, the first gear provides greater torque and control and the second gear provides greater speed. The 10mm single sleeve metal chuck that reduces bit slippage and makes bit changing quick and easy. This is complimented by the 11 position clutch that is perfect for precision screw driving into a variety of materials with different screw sizes.
Other features include an LED worklight for illuminating dark work spaces, an anti-slip soft grip for added user comfort and a varriable speed setting for optimum control when drilling and screw driving.
It comes with a 1.3Ah Li-Ion battery that holds over 80% of its charge over 90 days whilst idle. No need to charge the unit before each use and it delivers the same great performance as Nicad but in a lighter more compact drill. Comes supplied in a kitbox.
