This specialist hammer is the most commonly used tool for dressing and cleaning bricks. The single scutch version has a hardened square striking face at one end with a single comb slot at the opposite end. Fitted with a fibreglass handle which is lightweight, extremely strong and resistant to moisture.
Replaceable 25mm (1in) scutch combs or chisel bits (droves) are also available.
