The Forge Gate Spring can be fitted to most garden gates or doors to ensure they swing back to the closed position. The spring can be tensioned to suit the gate size and weight to ensure it latches closed.

Fitting Instructions:1. Hold the gate spring in place vertically at the edge of the hinged side of the gate.2. Mark and drill holes in the top bracket of the spring before fixing in place.3. Place the bottom bracket on the edge of the gatepost so the spring has a slight curve. Mark and drill the bracket holes before fixing in place.4. Insert a metal pin into a hole in the bottom bracket and use the metal bar provided to turn the top of the spring in the direction of the closed gate to tension. Use the second pin to secure in place.
