These Forgefix Drop In Anchors provide a permanent fixture, that can also be removed at any time. The anchor fits flush with or just below the surface of the substrate, leaving no protrusions when not in use and allowing work to be carried out on the immediate area. The anchors' internal thread facilitates the use of machine bolts and threaded studs of any length, thus removing restrictions on fixture thickness. The anchors are Zinc Yellow Passivated for increased resistance to corrosion.
APPLICATION:Ideal for rapid, repetitive installations particularly suitable for the electrical and mechanical trades as well as the suspended ceiling installers.Requires the use of the correct setting tool to ensure full expansion of the anchor body by percussion displacement.
The Zinc Yellow Passivation process of electroplating is similar to the ‘Galvanised’ and ‘Zinc Plated’ processes but with the addition of a yellow dye. It provides a coating that is aesthetically pleasing, and which offers excellent resistance to corrosion.
